Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what we need to sell you Scholarship HQ, sign you in and help you: your name, email, payment confirmation and how you use our site. Your student's information stays in your own AI account and your own files. We never see it.

What we collect

• When you buy: your name, email address and billing details. Card numbers go straight to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store them.
• When you sign in: your email address and a one-time code we send you, plus which lessons you've finished. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of each code, and it expires in 10 minutes.
• When you email us: whatever you choose to send.
• When you visit the site: standard technical details (IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived), through cookies and similar tools, including advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel.

What we don’t collect

Scholarship HQ runs inside your Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini account. Your student's profile, grades, essays, scholarship list, deadlines and check-ins are created and stored there and in files on your own devices. They aren't sent to us. Those AI services handle that information under their own privacy policies and your account settings. During setup, Scholarship HQ offers a short walkthrough of those settings, such as whether your chats may be used to train the AI.

Cookies

• Sign-in: one cookie keeps you signed in to the training for up to 30 days. Signing out deletes it.
• Measurement and ads: our site may use cookies and pixels from ad platforms such as Meta to measure visits and purchases. You can block them in your browser.

How we use it

• deliver Scholarship HQ and your training, and sign you in
• send receipts, sign-in codes and messages about your purchase
• answer support questions and process refunds
• send occasional updates and offers, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
• measure and improve our site and our ads

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run Scholarship HQ, and only for that purpose:

• Stripe: payments
• GoHighLevel: checkout, email and customer records
• Cloudflare: hosting our site and training, and storing your sign-in and lesson progress
• Our email provider: sending sign-in codes and receipts
• Meta and other ad platforms: measuring which ads lead to visits and purchases

We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any of them.
• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
• Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law, including the right to opt out of "sharing" for advertising. We respond within 45 days and never treat you differently for asking.

Children

Scholarship HQ is sold to and set up by adults. Our site and sign-in aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

Sign-in codes expire in 10 minutes and sign-ins in 30 days. We keep purchase and account records as long as your access is active and as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email on a do-not-contact list so we honor that choice.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, and sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
